Wolfies & Geist Tour 04/27

Since the day was going to be the warmest of 2021, during the morning zoom call, it was decided to have an impromptu DnD. Jim said that he was getting his boat at around noon so it was decided that those that could go would meet him at Wolfies on Geist for lunch and a ride. Bill & Erika headed to John & Ruth's for the short drive from there the restaurant. Since it was busy it was decided that we would take a quick ride while our table reservation was coming up. Got back in time for lunch and then headed back out on the water for a great couple of hour ride. Docking each time was a bit tricky at the wind was strong and pushed the boat around each time during docking at Wolfies and stopping for gas. Ruth got to captain the boat, even keeping us away from the dam! Then to help Jim out we took the Corvettes to where Jim's truck had been left and then went over to his boat slip and 'assisted' him in buttoning up the boat. Lots of pictures were taken as this was Bill & Erika's first time on the reservoir and the water view of all of the beautiful houses that line the shore. It was a fun afternoon and Jim will try to have other rides later in the summer for other club members to enjoy.
