A good group made it to breakfast before heading off to watch the afternoon football games.
Merlin even attended looking through the window for a treat.

A bit smaller group made it to breakfast with 6 guys and 4 ladies enjoying the late summer temps on an early Fall day. Football, Jim's IMS track duties and talk about recent drives were in the day's discussions.

Great weather days are finally here with Bill & Erika and Wylie showing up first and wondering were the rest of the Corvettes of the club were. Also early were Greg & Donna who had Merlin and the CRV, while John was without a Corvette wanting to keep it safe before the trade in trip on Tuesday to NC. Finally the rest of the group showed up with Jim, Charlie, Tom with 'his' C7 Z06, Phil & Anita, Larry & Joy, and Doug & Arminta who will soon be taking their C6 to NC too. Chatter was good, especially after pushing the two tables together so all the guys could converse. As always the VFW breakfast was a lot of fun and looking forward to the next one.

Summer may be actually on the way as the weeks of rain stopped and a beautiful clear day rolled in for the first Saturday in May. Hopefully the rest of the month behaves as well for IMS track events which start next Friday at Charlie's suite. Breakfasts were spaced out with Phil getting his first for once. Lots of general talk about upcoming events and when the next batch of C8's will be built for the three that have them on order. Look for Drive N Dines to also be planned to take advantage of the great weather where club members can enjoy being out together.

On a beautiful Saturday morning with Tim manning the pylons Corvettes started to roll into the VFW for the bi-weekly breakfast gathering. Those able to enjoy the day were Larry & Joy, Bill & Erika, Greg & Donna, Bob & Cindy, John & Ruth, Phil & Anita, Doug & Arminta, Jim, and Tom made up the 9 Corvette group. Charlie skipped breakfast as he had signed up for the rally later in the morning, while Wylie was finishing out his Covid quarantine, and Randy & Sherry were still in Key West enjoying the weather there. Discussions covered the fact that Doug & Arminta are now at 3300 for their C8 and can hardly wait for it to get built. Jim has lots of track duties coming and we probably won't see him at the VFW until Fall, so he was served first today while Phil was again last at the guys table. More track talk and that Charlie is getting the group into his suite for some of the upcoming races. With temps in the 70's standing outside before and after the meals were really enjoyed by the group. DnD's will be coming soon.

With a bit of snow spitting all of the Corvettes stayed home on VFW breakfast Saturday, but about half of the club's members made it for morning's fun. Of course getting there was a bit challenging as Carmel was having it's yearly marathon that blocked some of the nearby streets, including Phil's driveway. Discussions, as always, were varied with lots of comments. Of course Doug and John are patiently awaiting word on their C8, which made for good conversation about their upcoming trips to NC. Soon the weather will change for actual Corvette driving to be done.

With spitting snow in the air a good group made it for the VFW breakfast for a fun morning. Discussions covered Paul's C8 being built and when the delivery would be made to who would get their breakfast last. It was Bob this time. Lots of good conversation at the two men's tables along with the ladies at theirs.

After having a successful year of alternating Saturdays for a great breakfast it started up again on January 15 of the new year. After breakfast Charlie headed out to the suite at IMS for a quick view and reminded everyone to mark their calendar for May 12 or 13 to enjoy track events.
