​500 Pole Day 05/23

On a beautiful morning Corvettes of Central Indiana headed to IMS for Chevrolet Dealers of Central Indiana Pole Day activities. There were two groups that met at Uncle Bill's Pet Center, one started from Greg & Donna's while the other from Tom & Nancy's. For a few this was their first time going to the event including Mark & Karen and Bill's grandson Mitch. The rest of the group was Bob & Cindy, Randy & Sherry, John & Ruth, Wylie & Rita, with Paul & Larry having guests with them. After doing the short caravan to the track, check in was quick with the new pre-sign up system. The wait was also shorter than past years as the group soon headed onto the track and allowed to speedup through the corners and parade down the front straight across the yard of bricks. As in past years all of the 200 plus Corvettes & Camaros were parked along Holman Boulevard as a display for those attending. Once inside the group got to enjoy the day's events including getting a few group photos before enjoying the activities, with a few of the couples getting shuttled over to Charlie's suite to enjoy the day from there. Charlie also had been able to the lap with the rest of the club earlier, which was great. Lots of pictures were taken to remember the day for the newest club enjoying the event. Mark, Charlie, Wylie, & John even took videos which are posted below the pictures. Everyone in the club that wanted to go were able to thanks to Jace & Brett of Penske and of course Mike and the dealer group that sets this event up for over 200 Corvettes and Camaros to enjoy a day at the track.
