​Wet Deck Party 07/15

With a portion of the club members heading to Kentucky for the weekend Greg & Donna decided to have a smaller dog and burger party on their deck. Unfortunately much needed rain decided to come in the area on late Friday, damping sitting outside so to the screened in porch the group headed. Those able to attend were Doug & Arminta, Bill & Erika, Phil & Anita, Fred & Linda, and Cindy with birthday boy Bob arriving after a steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse. With the others just finishing their dogs, brats, or burgers the cake soon came out for Bob's our guy Birthday Cake with a single candle to mark his 70 years of age. It did take him a couple of puffs to get it out. Conversation covered many topics including 'fire' stories from Bob, along with other travel stories from the past of the group. It was a fun evening with great food, it was decided that more club patio parties are needed as the last one at Doug & Arminta's also brought a rainy evening. Maybe the club can get paid by farmers as more rain is needed in the area. Again thanks to Greg and Donna for opening up their house for a great evening of fun.
