​Drive to Firebirds 11/08

With weather predicted to be sunny and in the 60's Greg set up a drive to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill starting at Bill's house to keep the group away from noon traffic. With a planned start of 12:45 Charlie got the 'Greg Toolan Award' for being early as he arrived at 11:09 because he only had one drive for Infinity in the morning. No problems as they got a chance to visit prior to Wylie and then Tom & Nancy arriving. Then in a bit Doug & Arminta, Jim Shaver, along with Greg & Donna, and finally Phil and Anita arrived rounding out the driving group. After a couple of quick bathroom visits the 8 Corvettes were on their way. Bill led the first part out into the country side attempting to miss as much construction as possible that now makes up drives in the Westfield area. After working their way back to 31 Greg took over and took the group down to 116 and Spring Mill before going on 96 and over to Firebirds. Once there Rita, who had grandchild driving duties later, and Randy & Sherry who were busy in the morning and couldn't make the drive joined the group. Lunch was great as the group basically had the restaurant to themselves with the 2:00 reservation time. Another fun afternoon for the group as the driving weather winds down for another great time.
