Bare Arms Freedom Day 07/09
For a second year in a row Corvettes of Central Indiana were asked to display club cars during Bare Arms Freedom Day event. The day's weather was great after a week of high heat and humidity, a very welcome break. Getting there before 9 Doug & Arminta and John with their new C8's soon had a tent up and spots reserved for the other members as they arrived. Then (not in order) Bob's C8, Paul's C8, Phil's C8, Mark's C7, Bill's C3, Erika's C6, Fred's C2, Linda's C7, Charlie's C7, Sherry's C6, and Randy's C7, so had filled the spaces. Greg & Donna's C5s had to bow out due to massive road work on Spring Mill being done, they did come by later. Also later Wylie did a C8 drive by and a friend of Doug & John put his C7 950 HP Z06 into the line up. The spectators were steady and seen enjoying Corvettes and the different displays from the State Police, National Guard, Sheriff's department and Army along with a tours of Noblesville fire department trucks. This year Bare Arms supplied Fire House subs for everyone to enjoy along with in store discounts and specials for those visiting on their special event day. A fun day enjoyed by all.
