Bowling Green 08/08
The Bowling Green group headed to the National Corvette Museum for a number of pictures and the usual 'tour' of the gift shop along with checking out the Corvettes ready for delivery that day. The group of four couples were leader Randy & Sherry, Charlie & Eileen, John & Ruth, and Tom & Nancy. They also took time to get multiple pictures in the front circle of their C8's & C7. Once though with the quick visit they filled up with gas and headed North making use of more of the Kentucky rural roads. Dinning on the way down on Monday included a Cracker Barrel and Montana Grill and Tuesday they made a lunch stop in Glendale KY at The Whistle Stop restaurant as Tony York's on Main is closed on Tuesdays a nice place that the club has stopped at in previous years. Don't worry the group still had a great lunch with enough food to allow them to make the great drive home. On the trip John was able to put the required 500 miles on his fresh engine and have it ready for his 7500 mile transmission and engine oil change when home. A fun trip that was enjoyed by the those able to go.
