1000 Degree & Winery DnD 06/02

Originally a plan to go to Belgium Horse Winery for pizza and wine had to be modified when Bill found out that their kitchen would not be open due to food trucks coming in later on Friday. So on the Thursday night zoom it was decided to go to 1000 degree pizza first and then the winery. Larry & Joy and Bill & Erika were the West siders that met the East side group a Needlers in Pendleton. That group was made up of Paul & Londa, Randy & Sherry, John, and Jim. The two newest C8's were proudly being displayed with Sprague's beautiful black 70' Anniversary along with Jim's just over 500 mile NCM delivered Red Mist HTC being checked out by all. Unfortunately John's C8 is still in the shop awaiting a $57 part that is holding up his engine swap. He does have a great backup Corvette in his recently acquired 50th Anniversary C5, which he really enjoys driving. With Randy in the lead, as he had been to 1000 degree before, we hurried along to arrive before the lunch specials were over. After "enjoying" the warm lunch room and the great pizza, the group headed to the winery. Once there everyone had fun sampling the wine selections and staying in the cool indoors as the day had progressed into the hottest of the year as over 92 degrees was seen on dashes. A fun day by all, but it was decided that a return trip to 1000 degree pizza would be scheduled for temps in the 60's.
