​Angry Donkey 08/17

Tom and Nancy planned a trip to a club favorite the Angry Donkey that had reopened this summer after having roof damaged earlier in the spring by a tornado. Those able to leave from the hosts Tom & Nancy's house were Bob & Cindy, Bill & Erika, and Phil. John and Ruth were going directly there from a doctor's appointment. The drive was a good one using county and State roads up to Kirklin, with the plan to continue on 38 West to use other country roads to Michigantown. A few miles out of Kirklin the road was completely blocked by road work, so a quick reversal and then trip up 421 and 29 became the trip. That actually worked out well as it began to sprinkle just as we got the the restaurant and then poured while ordering, just after John & Ruth got there to. As always the meals were great and the group stayed long enough for the rain to finish up and actually be just damp on the way home.  Another great day of a club adventures enjoyed by those able to go.
