DeLullo's DnD 04/09

Continuing our spring time drives with great weather Greg & Donna got DeLullo's Italian Restaurant in Cicero to open an hour early at 3 to accommodate the hungry group. As the past few drives we used the convenient starting point of McClure's at 2 before heading out. Those able to get to the starting point were Greg & Donna, Tom & Nancy, Randy & Sherry, Larry & Joy, Bill & Erika, John & Ruth, and Doug & Arminta. With the early start Greg drove the group by his sister Sharon, who is shut in, for a waving opportunity drive by. Since we were a 1/2 hour early we drove through Cicero and East to take a nice drive in the country before circling back in to town and our saved parking spots in front of DeLullo's. Within minutes Bob along with Rita & Wylie also got there to enjoy the event, so a total of 17 members enjoyed the excellent meals that came out very hot. Before and during the meal lots of chatter by a great group of people that truly enjoy being around each other. Also to mark the day the restaurant had contacted a couple of local photographers who took a number of pictures of the Corvettes and the members for the local website. Those are at the bottom with the C8 of course getting a lot of 'love' by them.
