NC New C8  trip 06/07~09

Bright and early on June 7th four COCI Corvettes headed to Jim & Shelly's in Mooresville NC to pick up two new C8's at City Chevrolet in Charlotte. Two of the 4, John & Ruth's C7 Z06 and Doug & Arminta's C6 Convertible were being traded in, while Randy & Sherry getting an appraisal on their C6 Z06 for a future purchase along with Charlie & Eileen making the trip for the fun of it. On Thursday evening there was a cookout at the Noelle's who had also invited Rick the City's salesman and his wife for the fun evening. Wednesday the new owners were busy getting instructed by Rick while Charlie unfortunately had to deal with a tire issue. The group headed back on Thursday morning with Randy unfortunately finding pot holes and tire issues on the way back. He has them all fixed after a visit to Levi at Discount Tire on Friday. Everyone thanks Jim and especially Shelly for the great meals and their hospitality.
