Tipton Pork Festival 09/08

John again planned the annual drive to the Tipton Pork Festival on a beautiful Fall day. Using the rendezvous spot of the Kroger at 146 & Hazel Dell where 9 Corvettes and two SUV (mum haulers) met. Those able to enjoy the drive were John & Ruth, Larry & Joy, Doug & Arminta, Randy & Sherry, Greg & Donna, Bill & Erika, Charlie & Elaine, Bob & Cindy, and Phil in Corvettes along with Tom & Nancy and Wylie & Rita in their SUV planning to purchase a number of mums. The drive up was on good county roads and along the way Wally & Mary Jane joined the drive. As we got near Tipton John navigated us past Fred & Linda's house where they were waiting for the group to pass by while in their golf cart. As always a lot of 'pork' was consumed and enjoyed by the group. They also wandered around enjoying the day's sights including the mum displays and making various purchases.
