Piercy's Xmas Party 12/17

Tom & Nancy graciously hosted another great party at their house during the Holiday season on a cold but mainly clear evening. With most of the members attending, along the the Piercy's son Brian helping as bartender, everyone enjoyed the evening. Grandson Thomas was also in the house healing from his ACL surgery but stayed upstairs missing the steps and the food. The house being beautifully decorated along with the trains running and on display in the back room gave a great atmosphere. As in past years there was a lot of food and of course sweet items that did not last long with this great group of friends. Many separate discussions were held through out the room, including Christmas plans, upcoming travels the following week, and recounting the recent C8 class in Pahrump. Tom & Nancy were heading to Atlanta, with Wylie & Rita heading to Puerto Rico for a few days, and most everyone else was staying in the area for this season. The evening ended with everyone stopping by a table with 'swag' on it that everyone had brought for each other. Again thanks to the Piercy's for a another great December evening.
