​Drive to Cammack Station 08/22

Since it had been a few days since the last Drive N Dine and that fact that the weather looked great, although HOT, John planned a drive to the newly remodeled Cammack Station near Muncie. Meeting at the Applebee's near Noblesville the group of John & Ruth, Randy & Sherry, Doug & Arminta, Jim, Bill & Erika, Tom & Nancy, Bob & Cindy, with Charlie & Eileen filling it out before leaving from there. Paul & Londa had gone to a baseball game in Muncie along with Wylie & Rita who are waiting for their new C8, had planned to drive directly there to meet the group at 1:30. The day's route was up 37 to 128 and across to the destination which had little traffic and was a nice drive. As the group pulled up Wylie was seen videoing the approaching Vettes as they turned into the lot. Once there they  immediately saw the changes as the entrance is now off of the parking lot and into the huge addition. It was very busy so took a bit to get tables acquired for the group of 21, and then orders placed at the order window. Fortunately the group had a number of things to talk about including that Bob & Cindy's dog is very sick and being treated at the vets. During a lull in the many conversations Wylie brought in bags of tomatoes to disperse a number of the group. Fortunately the meals started coming out as there were about to be a number of them eaten. The food was very very good with a few also having ice cream, milk shakes, and other confections before heading back South. Thanks to John & Ruth for setting up the days event for the club that likes to drive to events verses just showing up for a meal.
