​Drive to Daniels Winery 04/12

Paul called for a drive to Daniels Winery to take advantage of their $5 glass of wine and half off pizza Wednesday deals. With the day calling for a high of 80's he had great response. To make the trip from the West side a group met at the Lowes parking lot. Those meeting there were Tom & Nancy, recently returned from Florida Larry & Joy,  Bill & Erika, Doug & Arminta, Bob & Cindy, Wylie & Rita, and joining in from the shooter calls Wally. This group headed over to New Hope church on Brooks School Rd where they met up with Paul & Londa along with John & Ruth. Soon they were on their way to Daniels meeting up with Randy & Sherry and Charlie who were already there for a total of 11 Vettes in the lot. After setting up outside, the group got their drinks of choice and waited until 4 when the 1/2 price deal started on the pizzas. Even with the nice day the winery was not crowded at all, with business picking up after 5 about when the group was ready to leave. Of course before driving to our homes we had Randy & Sherry show their few weeks old '23 70th Anniversary Carbon Flash Convertible to everyone. A truly beautiful Corvette and a good addition to their '13 60th Anniversary White Convertible. Everyone thanks Paul for setting it up and the group will certainly return later in the summer to enjoy the venue.
