Chappie’s

On Wednesday August 1 a very small group consisting of Bill & Erika and Arminta met at Dean & Zoe house to help them plan for their first Club Drive N Dine on Saturday August 18. To get ready for the weekend date a restaurant in the Village of West Clay called Chappie's was chosen and a route plotted for the group to take a test drive on. The route chosen encompassed some of the famous Carmel roundabouts and the houses of West Clay. Once there they were able to talk to the manager about the plans for that Saturday. The manager was very happy to set up some specials for that day and even block of parking in front of the restaurant for Vette parking only. This may turn in to being much like the Drive N Dine to Pamfilio's last summer, as this location is just a block away from the other, now closed, venue. The food was good, with some items not usually on a menu. For the Saturday Drive N Dine they are saying that they would cook burgers on their patio and other plans once Dean & Zoe have a general head count for the drive.
