IMS Grand Prix 05/09
Charlie had his brother's suite open in full force for the first big race of the IMS season, which is the Sonsio Grand Prix. The event had many new faces in attendance as the Phoenix Group had receiently added three new businesses to use the limited number of tickets. Charlie was able to get six of the prized ones for members, with Randy & Sherry, John & Ruth. and Bill & Erika making good use of them. Previous to the race there was the Corvette C8 owner parade with a large number of all of the 6 colorful years represented. The race was great, especially since a Chevy won!
What is really great with having the suite is that the fun continues during the week as that it is open to see all of the practice as it happens. Check with Charlie for more information if you haven't been there before.
