Friday Nights at Jason's Deli
With Jason's Deli soon to close at the Hamilton Crossing Center near N Meridian St Carmel location Greg & Donna have been holding several Friday Evening Dine only get together in January and February. Jason's will be missed as it is a favorite short notice summer evening destination as they had a huge Corvette friendly parking lot!

07/14/2017 The end of an era... several Corvette Indy members met for what was the last weekly Friday night dinner at Jason's Deli. The Carmel Jason's will close next week and open a new one near 116th & Allisonville Rd. Never fear though, Friday night dinners will continue but Greg plans to rotate the restaurants so watch your email and the Face Book site for more information. |

A good group made their way to Jason's on Cinco De Mayo to celebrate the wet weather finally leaving the area.
Also good to see Elaine Croy getting out after her knee replacement along with Jerry, and their grandson Michael.
A fun time for all and a great way to kick off the beginning of the weekend.

There was a light turnout at Jason's Deli this evening, in spite of the unusually warm weather. Linda W's daughter-in-law and great grandson Logan joined the group for a delightful evening. Some of the conversation centered around Purdue's blowout loss to Kansas on Thursday, and Butler's hopeful win against North Carolina. Sadly, Butler came up short, but it was not a blowout. |

Several Corvette Indy members met for dinner at Jason's Deli on Friday evening, March 3rd. Good food, good conversation and a great time with friends. Interestingly the folks at Jason's still don't have a closure date and are now saying it looks like May or even later. We'll just keep enjoying it while it lasts and make it an every Friday evening event at 6:30pm. Elaine took the pictures this time and took a selfie to get in the group picture. |

Greg's report of the evening is below with the following comment on pictures: "I discovered tonight that my camera takes lousy pictures when I leave it in my jacket pocket..." Good Friday night at Jason's Deli with 16 Corvette Indy members enjoying some great food and fun conversation. Some serious conversations and best wishes for members battling health issues but also as usual lots of laughs and an opportunity to enjoy the company of friends. The unusually nice weather brought out several Vettes from winter hibernation so the back row of the parking lot was looking good. Present were Jim A, Greg & Doona B, Elaine C, Dean & Zoe D, Jimmie & Donna D, Greg T, John & Ruth V, Phil & Anita V, Linda W and Bob & Sherry W. A picture was sent in by Elaine to prove it Actually Happened! |

02/03/2017 Smaller than usual turnout at Jason's on this Friday night. With it being one of the colder nights the group consisted of hosts Greg & Donna B, Ray C, Gary & Marian C and Linda W meeting for dinner and conversation. As usual a good time for all with plenty to eat. |

Jim & Judi A, Greg & Donna B, Ray & Sherry C, Jerry & Elaine C, Jimmie & Donna D, John & Marg H, Jim & Pam K, Bill & Erika L, Phil V and Linda W met for dinner at Jason's Deli on Friday evening. Great food and conversation and as always a good time was had by all. As usual, Greg bought the ice cream. This Jason's will close at the end of February but watch for additional visits before they close and for different places for new adventures after they close.
