Fall Deck Party 10/04

Donna and Greg picked a great evening weather wise to have their annual Deck Party as the evening was in the low 80's on an early October evening. With the roller dog machine filled up and lots of additional side dishes none of the group went home hungry. The deck easily held the 19 members that were able to come. This included hosts Greg & Donna, Bill & Erika, Larry & Joy, Doug & Arminta, Bob & Cindy, Tom & Nancy, Wylie & Rita, Randy & Sherry, Paul & Londa and Phil. Unfortunately John & Ruth could not make it as he had just had his back surgery, while Charlie and Jim were out at the track watching Corvettes and a number of other makes get ready for Saturday's 8 hour race. Lots of different discussions during the evening, from Friday night football to the destruction of North Carolina from the floods and a number of other things as the ladies circled around one table while the guys were at others. Phil’s birthday party was also mentioned as it is next Sunday with a short drive and late lunch at Firebirds. Everyone packed up and were gone between 9 & 10 with the promise from Donna & Greg that Pat was coming over on Saturday and would help them clean up and eat leftovers while watching football in the garage. As always we want to give a big thanks to Greg & Donna for a great get together for the entire club.
