Cruisin' for the Cure Car Show
On May 10 two of our members, Jeff B & Chris W headed to this large car show. Jeff's report follows:
On an absolutely beautiful for a car show, CI members Jeff B and Chris W headed to Plainfield to attend the Cruisin' for a Cure car show at Hummel Park. After registration the detailing began and then it was time to relax under the canopy before doing participants judging. As the cars rolled in it appeared that the older cars were in force and overall there were 121 cars. Since it was a participant judging the voting could go either way. After the votes were tallied it was time for awards and it was a big shocker that nothing but the older cars won. The "newest" car that won was a '68 Charger that got Best of Show. Even an older Volvo won...............
