Claddagh's 10/28

With the weather being predicted to be wet for the rest of the week and the weeks that the Corvettes will go out at all coming to a close Greg called for a Retirees & Hookey players Drive N Dine to start from his and Donna's house at 1:15. The day was beautiful and brought out 13 Corvettes and 20 attendees to head out and enjoy the late fall day. Those going on the drive were hosts Greg & Donna B, Jim & Judi A, Alan & Judy C, Chris & Paula W, Bill & Erika L, Wylie E, Jack H, Jim S, Rich P, Bob H, Kim C and friend Erica, true hookey player Jeff B, and guest Phil V with his C7 and friend John. With that many cars it was a bit of a challenge to keep them together with the group getting separated right away due to the first traffic light. The lead group went up to 106 and West, while the second group headed West on 96 street. Finally they got back together using Ditch Road and Carmel's circles. As the trip continued the group would get split by metal cars and then back together, with all finally traveling down 146 street in both lanes and on to Hazel Dell and keeping together for the rest of the trip to Claddagh's. Once there we were met by Terry and Susie, who was taking an afternoon away from her rehab of her double knee replacement.
Everyone had a great time and are certainly lamenting the 2013 Corvette driving season coming to a close.
