Yellow Vette View
Jeff B, owner of one of the club's Yellow Vettes sent in this report and pictures:
On August 24th, CI members Jeff B, Dick P, Al F, Bob H and Bonnie H attended the Carmel Artomobilia. Al, Dick and Jeff entered their cars for judging while Bob and Bonnie entered theirs into the Corvette Corral. It started off to be an absolutely beautiful day with temps in the lowers 70's and gradually warming up to the mid 80's but felt more like upper 90's. There were close to 400 cars this year. There were several people that thought Dick and Jeff were father and son which brought out some laughs. A few CI members that arrived to walk around and admire the cars were Jim &Shelley N, Doug I, Robert S, Wylie E. Jeff received an e-mail on his iPhone from the judging staff stating that he was to receive an award and to be by his car at XXXX time to receive the award. Well after 3 hours of waiting Jeff went and found a judge and was told that if the judges presented him a blue "corset" then he was to pull his car in front of the Indiana Design Center and it would be awarded to him in front of everyone. Overall it was a great day to be around good friends and enjoying their Vettes.
