Alan's Tribute Vette
As many members know Alan Carnahan has an award winning 2007 Corvette Coupe that is a tribute to his son which he is happy to display when given a chance. Here is the story of how it came about from Alan:
I bought the car on Labor Day, Sept. 2013. It was totally black with blacked out side markers, black dipped OEM wheels and no accessories.
I have dedicated it to the memory of my only child, my son, Crawford, who died in 2007. Crawford died two weeks before graduating high school and was planning to go to college and major in "Auto Detailing". Black was his favorite color and he loved to accent his own car in chrome.
I have a specialized plate cover: "In memory of my son Crawford" and a personalized Indiana plate "4 Craw4d" with bezel angel wings and halo around plate.
As you know; I got carried away and added almost every exterior and interior accessory (except the chrome trunk latch...which I will buy used when I find one) that they make for the C6 corvette, plus more.

Stainless covers for entire engine/radiator cover chrome dripped/chrome hood strut covers and trunk strut covers
Plexiglass/pressed Trunk divider
"Wicker Bill" gloss black full trunk length spoiler
Chrome door handles
ZR1 Side skirts gloss black
Chrome rotor covers
Chrome brake pad covers
Stainless steel front
HID dim and bright light front kits
HID reverse lights kit
Sequential rear tail-light kit
Chrome tail-light bezels outside and inside
Switch Back running lights (yellow day/white night)
White continuous running led lights in grille
All lights interior and exterior changed to LED's/side marker/plate lights/glove box/trunk/map lights...etc.
Purple LED lights added: in coves, over grill, over tail pipes, and wrapped in trunk area
White LED lights added: wrapped around interior compartment
LED red/white/blue/purple in engine compartment
Corvette exterior flags front and back accented with stainless triple bezel/flag decals were changed to 3D american flag gel
Padded arm rest "corvette" stitched on doors
Door rocker stainless covers/stainless covers around all door buttons
C6 window Valet
Red decals over side coves/fender
Interior trunk/window C6 cover
Chrome recline seat adjustment handles interior
Transparent roof
Rear "split window" look accent
Engine area: CHROME WIRE COVERING LOOM CONVOLUTED TUBING/chrome wire ties
Engine: Added "Super chip" raising HP to approximately 525HP.
Plus other odds and ends that I made and/or added...too long of a list already...haha
