​Veterans Day Parade 11/11/17

The final parade of the 2017 Corvette Indy driving year, as in the past, is the Indianapolis Veterans Parade downtown Indianapolis. This year organizer John Herder had the large group meet at the usual Drive N Dunk Saturday location so that their could be a caravan to the gathering point. Those that had signed up were Jim Alvis, Jeff & Charity Balow, Greg & Donna Bowron, John & Barb Burkhardt, Gary & Marian Cole, Ray & Sherry Chester, Jimmie & Donna Driscoll, Wylie Etscheid, Paul & Londa Habecker, Bob Hensley, Mark Hilligoss, Tim Johnson. Anthony Kuipers. Mike Lewis, Dick & Bonnie Pacetti, Jewell Pearson, Tom Piercy, Keith & Jan Riley, Jim & Bonnie Shaver, Steve Shepard, Charlie Sherman, Mike Smith. Bob Shelton. Randy & Sherry Sprague, Bill & Becky Stafford, Maguay Stewart, Joe Travis, John & Ruth Vess, Crissa White, Linda White. Bob Wilbert, and hosts John & Marg Herder. The majority met at McAlister's with a few going directly to the starting point, including Alan Carnahan. Once there the Corvette Indy group joined with contingents from Classical Glass Corvette Club and Circle City Corvette Club. The Corvettes continue to be one of the more popular entries in the Parade. The parade was it's usual well received success with the number of the group heading out to Rick's Boat House for an afternoon meal.
