​'25 Summer Party 08/23

Bob & Cindy's annual summer party was on a beautiful August evening as the weeks long heat had finally broken. As in past years, the ladies made great side dishes and desserts to add to the chicken & pork BBQ that the hosts supplied along with beverages for all. Most members that were in town were able to come and enjoy the great party. Wylie was even able to get Tom on facetime as Tom & Nancy had just moved to their new house in Georgia the week before. Everyone was also glad to see that Doug was able to make it even with his current back issues. Hopefully his issues can be solved in the next few weeks and he will be back to playing golf before the season ends. Golf was a topic of discussion along with a bit of football and the usual aches and pains all of the group have from time to time. As the evening wound down the two dogs were let out to enjoy the party with the food put away. They received a lot of attention as they went between the ladies and guys sitting around the sun room and kitchen. The evening wound down and everyone headed out and some were able to check out Greg & Donna's new pups as Greg had gone home to check on them and brought them back when picking up Donna. The evening was great and everyone headed as the sun went down, again thanking Cindy and Bob for opening their house up for the evening.
