2016 Tuesday Steak Night
The Ale Emporium has become a weekly stop for a number of members as they take advantage of the dinner special. Started over a year ago by host Bill Reynolds he has continued the event to the delight of all. This weekly event takes advantage of the Ale Emporium's $6.95 bacon wrapped fillet with baked potato, soup, & salad Tuesday night special. Ale Emporium address is 8617 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN, 46250, just East of Allisonville and North of 86th Street. Club members usually try to get there between 5:00 & 5:30 to get seating and the special, as both are limited. Corvette parking is somewhat limited close to the restaurant so 'metal' cars are usually driven to this event. You can be assured that some Corvette Indy members will be there as long as the steak dinner special is available.

Had a small intimate group of 10 people. Everyone had a great time talking about their Christmas experience and looking forward to the new year. I just want to personally thank everyone who joined us this year for any of the steak nights. We have a great corvette family and it's wonderful to spend time with everyone. Still the best price in town at the Ale. See you all next year. Have a safe and happy new year.

Had a group of 11 people. Interesting facts there were five ladies and three of them were named Sherry. And then out of all the people there they all owned a red Corvette. Great conversation great friends and of course the best price in town. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone see you next week. |

Bill was unable to attend this week, but Jerry took up the duties of taking a picture of the group to prove that 'it happened'. No report on how many had steak dinners, but it sure looks like everyone had their usual good time. Another couple that are friends of Bill had left earlier, so are not pictured. We had a group of 21 tonight the talk was all about Kellam's bonfire everyone's looking forward to going on Saturday. Cheryl surprised me, Bill, with a birthday cookie which everyone got a chance to enjoy.

We had a total tonight of 14 people showed up. Tammy and Butch came for dinner this is their second time there, they had a great time and enjoyed the food. Of course the first picture is a selfie of me with my new glasses yes I still have to wear glasses but no cataracts. Most other talk was about the trip to Bowling Green. Other talk about the table was Mike getting out of the hospital today and couldn't wait to get to steak night to eat. And also the big story tonight was Sharon's birthday. William brought cupcakes for everybody to share and have as dessert. Keith and Phil both drove there Corvettes. Great crowd tonight total of 16 showed up for steak night. Marion had a thin crust pizza with extra cheese and many toppings wow it looks so good. All others had steak. Most talk around the table was about all the rain that happen Saturday on the Penske Corvette car show. But was still amazed with everyone that showed up and had a great time anyway. Everyone had steak except for Sharon Arnold she got a wonderful juicy looking hamburger. I got two gift certificates to use for the Penske car show. So that's about it for tonight again great friends great food and as I always say best price in town so until next week.

Another good night total of 17 people showed up for steak night. Most talk about the table was about people having to wash the Corvettes after that meeting at Champps. Most thought it was maybe grease from the kitchen but others seem to think it may be sap from the trees next to the parking lot. Of course the first picture there is a selfie that was taken. If you haven't noticed something a little different about me and my selfie I have no glasses after my cataract surgery doctor said you don't need them so awesome time at steak night. Most to talk about the table was about Gary's birthday party everyone seem to have a great time beautiful home. Looks like everybody did have steak except for Susie and Terry had a lovely pizza. So glad to see Mike and Judy back and Mike looking great after his surgery lost quite a bit of weight but still looking good. So few more selfie's of myself and some of the guest. Good turnout tonight total of 17 people showed up for steak night. Everybody had steak except for one so they had pizza. If anybody has forgotten what that steak looks like here's the steak I had tonight steak with French fries. Also chili with cheese and onions. Beautiful day great weather brought out a total of 19 people for steak night. Most talk around the table was the event on Sunday's full day at IMS. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the day. Most of the other conversation was about the people that went to the Mecum auction at the fairgrounds. As far as I could tell everybody had steak, and as I always say great friends great food and still best price in town. So until next week everybody be safe thanks for coming. Sorry I forgot to say a few people drove their Corvette tonight but unfortunately I only got one picture.

Well we had a good turnout last night. 13 people showed up for steak night. We had one new person a first timer. Everybody had steak except for Keith he had a great tenderloin as you see on the picture. Everybody was talking about the warm weather enjoying it. Nice warm weather brought out 12 people to steak night. Everyone had steak. Most of the talk around the table was everyone going to be missing Peyton Manning in football. Yes Tori was our server last night, also the nice weather brought out one Corvette and two first time people to steak night. Here is Bill's first report for this month: Even though the weather was not the best we still had 14 show up for steak night. Everybody had steak and a great time, great food, great friends, and as I always say the best price in town! Total of 14 showed up tonight and everyone had steak. Two new people showed up too, they are friends of William and Sharon and old old time members. Yes, Tori is back and she was our server tonight and took very good care of us. Again great time great friends and great food for the best price in town until next week take care.

Most everybody was talking about the warm weather that's coming this weekend. The group also sent a couple pictures to Gary at Marion as they are in Vegas (check out "I Was There" to see what they did). Yes the cold and the snow kept most people away but there was a total of seven people that showed up for steak night. One picture tells it all, and everybody did have steak. Good size group of 16 people showed up for steak night. Most of the talk was about losing the parking lot for Main Event. Judy's mom headed back to Florida on Friday for 80° temperatures.
