2013 Great Pumpkin Weekend

Over the weekend of October 26-27 several members of Corvette Indy headed to Grissom AFB and either competed or worked corners for the final race of the 2013 Indiana Region Season. On Saturday Wylie & Rita E did their first day at the track, Greg T did his second track day, while now seasoned Frank & Cathy C where there for their third weekend of competition. We also were represented by Butch D, who is still shaking down his new track car. On Sunday Butch, Frank, & Cathy ran while Wylie worked a corner. On both days Bill worked a corner and took pictures for both Corvette Indy & Indiana Region websites. Unfortunately Saturday was very cool, and somewhat overcast with cold winds, while Sunday was sunny and much warmer. Both days were hampered by timing issues and a short crew of corner workers, with Sunday running much better. After Saturday's Autocross the weekend also had two rallies, where Butch got a second & fourth place. A fun weekend for all who attended and helped to keep Corvette Indy in third place in the region point standings.
